dc.description.abstractThis translation report details the process of translating Rafael Rodrigues Saveedra Tovar's article “Teaching Chinese: Subjects, Challenges, Techniques, and Practices” from Portuguese into Chinese. The article addresses issues encountered by native Portuguese teachers in Chinese language instruction and outlines corresponding strategies, highlighting the complexity of explaining Chinese grammar in Portuguese. This translation report is divided into three chapters: Chapter One outlines the translation background and methodology, focusing on the translation strategies employed at the lexical, sentence, and paragraph levels; Chapter Two organizes the challenges encountered during translation and the corresponding solutions; Chapter Three presents my personal reflections on this translation practice and future considerations. This translation report holds two significant purposes: first, it serves as a Chinese-language reference for research on Chinese language teaching and cross-cultural communication from the perspective of native teachers; second, it hones translation skills through practical application and provides a methodological reference for subsequent translation reports related to this topic.pt_BR
