| Resumo: | O presente trabalho tem como objectivo compreender as formas que as mulheres chefes de famílias (agregados familiares) usam na construção da sua identidade. O estudo foi realizado em Maputo, no Bairro de Magoanine "A". Usou-se como suporte teórico, a Perspectiva da Construção Social da Realidade de Berger e Luckman (1978, 2004). Estes autores mostram que a realidade social constrói-se nos processos sociais. Assim sendo, a identidade é um elemento chave da realidade subjectiva. A Formação e conservação da identidade são determinadas na estrutura social durante as relações sociais, mantendo-a ou modificando-a. Uma vez formada, a identidade é mantida e modificada nessas relações sociais. O estudo seguiu uma linha qualitativa, que permitiu maior compreensão das atitudes, valores e representações das entrevistadas no processo de construção social da identidade das mulheres chefes de agregados familiares. Este método qualitativo permitiu conhecer-se as motivações da população alvo e conseguiu-se alcançar a essência desta realidade social. O estudo mostrou a existência de mulheres chefes de agregados familiares que foram abandonadas pelos cônjuges. Outras, por iniciativa própria romperam com a conjugalidade devido a vários factores. Outras ainda são chefes de agregados familiares por iniciativa própria. Estas últimas, logo que atingiram a maturidade procuraram constituir suas próprias unidades domésticas. Constatou-se também que as mulheres chefes de agregados familiares constroem a sua identidade usando o conhecimento que adquiriram na sua trajectória de vida mantendo seus agregados familiares sem a presença de um cônjuge. Desta forma, rompe-se com as concepções tradicionais e abre-se campo para um novo paradigma sobre agregados familiares monoparentais chefiados por mulheres. As mulheres chefes de agregados familiares não deixam de ter características distintivas como mulheres, embora estejam na liderança de seus agregados familiares no que toca a valores e normas que possuem. A sociedade tende a mudar quanto a estigmatização, vendo os agregados chefiados por mulheres como plenos agregados familiares plenos. |
| Abstract: | The present paper aims to understand the ways that women heads of families (households) use in the construction of their identity. The study was carried out in Maputo, in the Magoanine "A" neighborhood. It was used as theoretical support, the Perspective of the Social Construction of Reality of Berger and Luckman (1978, 2004). These authors show that social reality is built on social processes. processes. Therefore, identity is a key element of subjective reality. The formation and preservation of identity are determined in the social structure during social relations, maintaining or modifying it. Once formed, identity is maintained and modified in these social relations. The study followed a qualitative line, which allowed a greater understanding of the attitudes, values, and representations of representations of the interviewees in the process of social construction of the identity of women heads of households. This qualitative method allowed us to get to know the motivations of the the target population and was able to reach the essence of this social reality. The study showed the existence of women heads of households who were abandoned by their spouses. by their spouses. Others, on their own initiative, broke away from their marriages due to various factors. Still others are heads of households on their own initiative. The latter, As soon as they reached maturity they sought to establish their own domestic units. It was also found that women heads of households construct their identity using the knowledge they have acquired in their using the knowledge they have acquired in their life trajectory by maintaining their households without the households without the presence of a spouse. In this way, a break with traditional conceptions and opens the field to a new paradigm on single-parent households headed households headed by women.
