Abstract

Este artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa sobre atrações turísticas e cultura do turismo em Moçambique. O estudo focou-se na fragilidade do turismo cultural entre Moçambique e a China e na análise da situação do turismo em Moçambique, onde o pesquisador acompanhou a evolução deste setor desde o período pós-independência, após a guerra civil, até os dias atuais, através de informações coletadas durante a pesquisa. Os materiais disponíveis foram utilizados para conduzir a discussão sobre a fragilidade do turismo cultural entre as nações, e uma análise minuciosa revelou que um dos maiores obstáculos enfrentados entre os dois países é que moçambicanos e chineses possuem identidades culturais, linguísticas e econômicas diferentes. Os entrevistados também mencionaram elementos fundamentais, como a baixa taxa de natalidade, que limita o casamento de chineses com outras nacionalidades, neste caso, moçambicanos, especificamente para essa abordagem em relação às limitações existentes entre os dois continentes. A análise da situação do turismo moçambicano mostrou que o setor turístico já atingiu o seu auge, mas no ano passado registrou uma queda inconcebível em termos de receita, com US$ 53,07 milhões contra US$ 249,4 milhões em 2019. Este resultado demonstra claramente como o turismo regrediu no país, afetado principalmente por quatro barreiras: Acesso, Demanda, Investimento e Falta de competências nas instituições do setor público nos níveis central e provincial e fraca cooperação entre os setores público e privado

This article is the result of research on tourist attractions and tourism culture in Mozambique, however the study focused on the weak cultural tourism between Mozambique China and in the analysis of the situation of tourism in Mozambique in which the researcher the evolution of this industry since the post-independence period, after the civil war until now through information collected during the research. Available materials were used to conduct the discussion regarding the weak cultural tourism between nations and a thorough analysis revealed that one of the biggest obstacles faced between the two countries is that Mozambicans and Chinese have different cultural, linguistic and economic identities, the interviewees also brought fundamental elements such as the low birth rate that limits the marriage of Chinese with other nationalities, in this case Mozambicans specifically for this approach relatively to the limitations that exist between the two continents. analysis of Mozambican tourism situation showed that the tourism sector has already reached its peak but last year showed an inconceivable drop in terms of revenue with US $ 53.07 million against 249.4 in 2019, this result evidently shows how tourism has regressed in the country mainly affected by 4 barriers: Access, Demand, Investment and Skills gaps in skills knowledge in public sector institutions at the central and provincial levels of tourism and weak cooperation between the public and private sectors
