| dc.description.abstract | This work analyzes the legal situation of internally displaced persons in the province of Cabo Delgado, with particular emphasis on the group composed of women and children. It examines the difficulties they face and the protection of their human rights, taking into account international human rights legislation ratified by the Mozambican State. It essentially highlights the obligations of the Mozambican State regarding the human rights of these populations, as well as the responsibilities internationally assumed in light of the legislation and international instruments ratified by the Mozambican State for the protection of the human rights of these persons, their effective implementation, and whether the practical and legal effects of these instruments ensure and realize greater respect for, inclusion, protection, and promotion of the rights of particularly vulnerable groups, namely women and children. The study further analyzes the extent to which the Mozambican State has undertaken efforts to ensure the effective fulfillment of the internationally assumed obligations toward this vulnerable segment of the population, and the ways in which it has contributed to the creation of domestic norms regulating these situations. It also examines the role and involvement of different national and international humanitarian aid institutions in the search for and development of short- and long-term programs and projects, as well as durable and sustainable solutions aimed at ensuring a better response to this situation. The work also addresses the difficulties faced in daily life by women, adolescents, mothers, and their children in situations of displacement, as well as cases that constitute violations of human rights. Finally, following an analysis of the legislation in force in the country and its practical application, recommendations are presented, by way of conclusion, which may in some way contribute socially to greater protection of vulnerable groups. | pt_BR |
